Cookie Policy

01What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. Similar technologies, such as the browser's local storage, keep small pieces of information in the same way. We refer to all of them as cookies in this policy.

02Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are needed for the website to work and are set without consent, on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating the site and, for signed-in accounts, the performance of our contract:

• NEXT_LOCALE: remembers the language you chose. Deleted when you close your browser.
• gry_customer_session: keeps an approved dealer signed in to the dealer portal. Expires after 8 hours.
• gry_admin_session: keeps authorized Garry staff signed in to the site administration. Expires after 8 hours.
• gry_cookie_consent (local storage): records your choice in the cookie banner so that we do not ask again. Kept until you clear it.
• gry_cart_v1 and garry-currency (local storage): store the order pad contents and the display currency of approved dealer accounts. Kept until you clear them.

03Visit statistics without cookies

Our own analytics system records visits to this website without storing anything on your device. On the servers of our hosting and database providers, it records the pages you visit and how you use them (time on the page, scroll depth, clicks on contact, external and download links, form submissions), the referring website and campaign parameters, your IP address and the approximate location derived from it, and your browser, operating system, device, screen size, language and time zone. Repeat visits are recognized by a keyed hash of your IP address and browser details, not by an identifier stored on your device. Signed-in Garry staff are not counted.

We use these statistics to measure and improve this website and to keep it secure, on the basis of our legitimate interest (Article 5(2)(f) of the KVKK; Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR). They are kept for up to 13 months and then deleted. You may object by writing to info@garrymedical.com.

04Analytics, only with your consent

If you choose "Accept all" in the cookie banner, we also use the technologies listed below. If you choose "Essential only", none of them is loaded, and gry_vid and the Google Analytics cookies are deleted from your browser. Our visit statistics without cookies continue as described in the previous section.

• gry_vid (local storage): a random visitor identifier that lets our own visit statistics recognize repeat visits from the same browser. Kept until you clear it or choose "Essential only".
• Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC): sets the cookies _ga and _ga_<ID> to count visits and page views. Kept for up to 2 years. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy.
• Metricool (Metricool Software S.L.): web analytics that counts visits and page views so that we can see, in aggregate, how the catalog is used. Metricool may use its own cookies or identifiers under its own privacy policy.

05Third-party content

Some features load content from other providers, who then process data under their own policies:

• Map: the embedded Google map on our contact page loads only after you accept cookies or click "Show the map". Google may then set its own cookies.
• Payments: approved accounts that pay online do so on the payment form of our payment provider (PayTR or Stripe), which uses its own cookies, including for fraud prevention.
• WhatsApp: links to WhatsApp open the WhatsApp service (Meta), which operates under its own terms.

06No advertising cookies

We do not use advertising or remarketing cookies on this website.

07Managing your choice

You can change your choice at any time with the "Change cookie preferences" button on this page, which shows the cookie banner again. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, parts of the site, including dealer sign-in, may not work.

08Changes to this policy

We update this policy when the cookies we use change. The current version, with its date, is published on this page.
